Facilities available at the MDO Centre
The Centre is situated in a quiet residential area, with its own secluded garden, close to major rail, road and air networks.
The Centre can sleep 13 people in 9 bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor with disabled facilities. Other details of the Centre include
- a comfortable lounge with TV, video and DVD.
- an attractive prayer room, housed in the conservatory with views of the garden.
- a formal dining room.
- a conference room with seating for 25, ohp, screen, portable loop system and other conference equipment.
The MDO Centre is managed by the Methodist Diaconal Order and run largely by volunteers. This helps to create the unique relaxed atmosphere of the house. Bedding is provided, though guests are asked to bring their own towels, help keep the house clean during their stay and change their bedding when they leave.
Catering services can be provided by a local company, if required.
