The Methodist Diaconal Centre is a small conference centre situated in Edgbaston, Birmingham.
The building fills the dual roles of 'Centre' and 'Mother House' to the Methodist Diaconal Order. As 'Centre' it houses the national offices of the MDO and is where training courses for Deacons and Presbyters take place.
As 'Mother House', the Diaconal Centre provides a quiet place for deacons who may be on sabbatical or personal retreat.
Following the Centre's extensive refurbishment in 2007, the MDO Centre offers:
- a place of Welcome
- an oasis for prayer and reflection
- a hospitable meeting place
- a space for individual or group retreat
- a venue for your own event
